Korean beef kimchi fried dumpling

Kimchi (Korean: 김 치 ), is a traditional fermented food of the Korea peninsula, often served with rice.

Guotao(fried dumpling) refers to a thin, long shaped opening at both ends wrapped in filling, fried with a small amount of oil and water cooked pasta. In the rural areas of northern China, it refers to a cake made of coarse grain flour fermented in a large iron pot

Cooking steps

1-Stuffing

Chop kimchi and place it in a bowl of beef. Make it 1:1 ratio.

2-Seasoning

Add the chopped garlic, chopped onion and soy sauce to the bowl of beef and Kimchi and stir well.

(Kimchi)

- The Kimchi are sour and salty,

but it's a little bit more sour,hence ,put the right amount of soy sauce, the filling will have the flavor.Otherwise, the whole potstickers will taste sour

3-Mixture

Add white pepper and sugar to the bowl and knead vigorously.

-A small amount of sugar adds layers of flavour to the mince.

Kneading the stuffing can increase the stickiness of the meat, making it easier to wrap the fired dumpling.

4-Wrap dumpling

Place the filling in the center of the wrappers and pinch it in half. Do not pinch the opening on both sides of the wrappers.

5-Preheating the pan

6-Put the dumpling in the pan

Put the wrapped dumpling neatly into the pot.

7-Add starchy sauce

Put 1/2 TSP of potato powder and 5 TSP of water in a bowl and thicken. Pour slowly over the sides of the pan. Bring to a boil.

8-Dish up

Bring the starchy sauce to a boil, cover the pan, reduce the heat to medium, fry until the sauce is reduced, then cover the pan with a plate and serve the stickers.
